Victoria, or “Viki,” started riding nearly before she could walk. She was born into a professional equine family and quickly discovered that competing was in her blood. By the age of 6, she was consistently showing in the pony divisions and qualified dozens of ponies for USEF Pony Finals. She also showed in the pony jumper division on her jumper pony “Wonder Woman” and showed at Devon by the time she was 11.
Victoria finished her junior career with a top 10 finish at USEF Pony Finals as well as numerous Zone Championships. She also was top five in the nation in the first-year green working hunters with “Box Seat,” as well as being the IEA reserve leading rider as a freshman in high school and lead her team to two National IEA Championships two years in a row.
Staying an amateur until 2011, she started training as a professional after winning the GHJA Adult Medal Final and continued showing young horses successfully in the 3’-4’ hunters. She went on to work for Norman Dello Joio in 2016 and focused on the jumpers and furthering her training. She also worked for Andy Kocher and competed through the 1.35m jumper classes.
She started training at Windy Oaks Farm in 2018 and continues as the head trainer here today. Victoria is an extremely well-rounded and experienced trainer, and she has the knowledge and skill to bring you and your horse to any level that you wish to achieve.
